Mardis Gras   Carnival time in New Orleans is a season for revelry, pageantry and costuming. A good spot to watch a parade is at the corner of Tchoupitoulas street and Napoleon avenue where the floats, marching bands, riders and flambeaux carriers line up to take their place in the parade for the five mile walk.
